The aim of the workshop was to update the skills of the financial officers on the use of the PSR or Payment Spent Report accounting system, to meet Wellcome Trust requirements. Unfamiliarity with the requirement has led to the delay in presenting financial reports to the main sponsor of the IIDP consortium.

About us
The Institute for Infectious Diseases of Poverty (IIDP/IRMP) is a consortium of Anglophone and Francophone West African Institutions with a mission to develop the infrastructure required for the production of the high quality interdisciplinary science necessary to address the problems of infectious diseases of poverty.
Expert academy
The International Academy of Experts is a group of prominent researchers in relevant areas of research and training who are interested in supporting the development of a centre of research excellence in West Africa.
Partners
Each partner institution is led by a Director with a strong individual track record in undertaking interdisciplinary research in resource-poor settings, and on most diseases of poverty. The Directors work with teams of approximately 5 research staff to undertake and supervise joint interdisciplinary IIDP/IRMP research.
